Ashley was born on the coast of San Clemente California on the 10th February 1987. Ashley began surfing when she was five, just before she moved to Hawaii. When she was 6 she was able to win a surfing contest with a run-down surfboard that she found within a dumpster outside of her house. She started surfing in the age of five and, by age six, she had already won her first contest By age 7, she received a sponsorship. She was also a winner from two National Scholastic Surfing Association titles and also the Professional Surfing Tour of America. Ashley took home the Pipeline Women's Pro 2010 in Hawaii. Ashley was ranked 59th place in the Women's Qualification Series 2014. Anastasia Ashley posed in 2014 for the magazines Sport's Illustrated and Maxim Magazine. The model launched her Gypsy Jet Set Jewelry line with OK1984 in 2014.
