Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on 14th May 1964, to the Jewish Family. Suzy is now 58. Sandra Kolber, her mother is named. Gene Kolber, is the father. She graduated in 1982 from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from The University of Miami, in 1986. Her first job was an executive director of sports at Dynamic Cable located in Coral Gables Florida while she was an undergraduate student. She was also employed by Dynamic Cable for a couple of years from 1984 until 1986. In this time she was also a member of the University of Miami's water-ski team. Plaza was involved in Wilmington community theatre as a child, where she was a part of improv groups, staged one-act plays, and was involved in various other events. After high school she moved into New York City where she attended improv courses at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and was a film and TV production student at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated in the year 2006. When she graduated of high school, she moved into New York City. There, she attended improv courses in the theatre of Upright Citizens Brigade. She also studied film and television production at Tisch School of the Arts. Her graduation was in 2006.
